This parenting series will focus on a different topic and age group each quarter, with a goal to foster impactful connections with your child!
It's no secret that middle school can be fraught with social difficulties as tweens and teens gain independence. Dr. Becky Thomson, PhD, will discuss friendships and crushes, bullying, and the impact of social media. We will examine what typical social challenges look like, and ways that parents can support their middle schooler's navigation of social experiences while ultimately allowing them to take the lead. While this session will focus on middle schoolers ages 11-14, parents of younger and older kids are welcome to join in.
Join us each quarter to tackle a different topic and age group all about fostering connections with your child! Colleagues from Thriving Minds Family Services - Chelsea will lead these sessions, which will be recorded for access after the live program.
