Ready to explore dungeons and save foxen from evil lava monsters? Join Chelsea's favorite, Dungeon Master Mark, as he runs teens ages 12 & up through a five-week adventure, starting with character creation. This is a 5th Edition Campaign, and you MUST commit to all five dates on signup.
Dughall the sword-lord was ruler of the Burning Valley for one hundred years, until his people could stand his tyranny no longer and rose up against him.
Tyrant or no, the sword-lord relished war and waging one against his own people gave him no pause. Dughall took his most loyal men, as well as the nation's treasury, to his unassailable fortress, the Amethyst Gate. Secure with men, supplies, and the nation's greatest treasures, Dughall was ready for any attack or siege.
But he was not ready for the wrath of the Burning Valley.
A great volcanic eruption blasted the Amethyst Gate and buried it under the remains of a mountain. So ended the story of Dughall the sword-lord.
Until now, 400 years later.
A fresh round of eruptions and earthquakes has revealed the Ruins of Amethyst Gate, and you intend to to plumb it's depths. Perhaps you wish to reclaim your people's treasures, perhaps you mean to make them your own, or perhaps you seek the sword-lord's great blade, said to grant the wishes of its wielder?
Whatever your motive, you'd better move fast, adventurer, because you are not the only one looking.
