Wild Wednesday
Dinosaur Day w/ Mad Science Detroit
Tuesday, June 16
2:00pm - 3:00pm
Chelsea District Library
McKune RoomJoin us for a fun afternoon of fossils! PaleoJoe cannot make it anymore, but Mad Science is here to save the day with fossils, skulls, and the science of dinos!
Join us and Mad Science Detroit to Unearth a Story! From digging up fossils and examining skulls to comparing animal adaptations and recreating dinosaur sounds, we'll explore how scientists use clues from the past to piece together the story of life on Earth. With hands-on demonstrations and experiments, we will investigate how dinosaurs lived, what they ate, and even how big they were—culminating in a creative look at how ancient discoveries may have inspired the mythical beasts of storybooks. Best for ages 6 and up.
Note: Previously scheduled PaleoJoe is no longer able to join us today. We promise you'll still love this special event from Mad Science!
