Parents, tutors, and caregivers are invited to a first look at this phonics-based collection for emerging readers.
Learn all about CDL’s latest literacy collection, Decodable Readers! Based on phonics and other proven approaches that fall under the Science of Reading umbrella, decodable readers progress through a series of easy-to-follow skills that break down words into manageable pieces. Youth librarians will co-present with Chelsea School District educators to share the best ways to use decodable readers at home to support emerging readers.
No baby-sitter? No problem! Library staff and volunteers will be on hand to entertain kids ages 3 and up with books, games, crafts, and more library fun.
