Reading Education Assistance Dogs has been a Chelsea District Library program for over 10 years. Children read books to our friendly therapy dogs who listen carefully to every single word! Research has shown that children can improve their reading skills by reading aloud to non-judgmental listeners. Read five times and get a free book! Sign-ups will now be here through Communico, if you want siblings to read together please call (734) 475-8732 x209 to let the librarians know.

In order for all children to participate and have a successful experience, please let us know if your child has any special needs that we can accommodate. Call Catherine at 734-475-8732, ext. 218.
