Benefitting the Ozone House of Washtenaw County

CDL and CHS are partnering in a drive to make the holidays a little brighter for our local homeless teen population. Washtenaw County has approximately 1,300 homeless youth. Did you know that housing and food instability increases during the holidays? CHS student organizations are working with Chelsea District Library to fill the CDL bookmobile with supplies to ensure that this vulnerable population has the basic supplies that they need most. The Chelsea District Library is a single branch library serving the City of Chelsea and surrounding townships. The library has 4 small study rooms, one medium meeting room, and the McKune room, our main programming room.
