A special book club just for new readers in grades K-2 (or through age 8)!
Emerging readers LOVE K-2 Books & Fun! Sign up, pick up the book and read it at home, then attend our book club meeting where we will play games, read from the book, and more!
To celebrate National Poetry Month, April's title is My Parents Think I'm Sleeping, a collection of silly and imaginative bedtime rhymes by former Children's Poet Laureate, Jack Prelutsky. We'll try our hands at writing our own poems, read some of the tongue twisting poetry aloud, and perhaps enjoy a snack.
Register and pick up a copy of the book at the 1st Floor Information Desk while supplies last.
