Join Librarian Amelia for a fun afternoon of crafts and exploration! This program is for kids ages 5-18.
Have you ever heard of a zine? It's a fun magazine (that's where it gets its name!) that is created by small groups of people or individuals. Zines typically have a theme, and this zine's theme is creativity! We will have different art media for kids to try, or stick with something they're familiar with. This month we will be exploring different ways you can incorporate the wintery weather into your art! Each child will create their art during the time provided, Librarian Amelia will take pictures, and then put all of the art into a small zine. Each participant gets their own copy to take home with them. There will be a limited number of copies for the public to take, as well. We hope to see you there!
