Stop by the library most Sundays in December & the first Sunday in January for popcorn with cocoa, coffee, or tea and a classic winter movie. This week, watch Holiday Inn with Bing Crosby.
A country roadhouse in Connecticut is turned into a nightclub 15 times a year in this stylish and snappy Bing Crosby-Fred Astaire musical that introduced "White Christmas," which won an Oscar for Best Song. The Oscar-nominated soundtrack features a wealth of Irving Berlin tunes including "Easter Parade" and "Happy Holiday." The Holiday Inn hotel chain took its name from the film's title.
