Super special storytimes, guests, and activities just right for little ones ages 2-6!

Thrilling Thursdays will be outside this summer (unless otherwise noted). Enjoy tons of fun each week in the Reading Garden with storytime and special guests and activities all summer long!

 

Jun. 13 | Ballet Storytime | McKune Room | Hear a delightful dance story and learn a little ballet with our friends from Ballet Chelsea!

Jun. 20 | Adventure Begins! Storytime | Librarians Amelia and Jessica will lead a rip-roaring storytime full of adventure in all forms to go with this year’s Summer Reading theme!

Jun. 27 | Bluey Party | McKune Room | Play Keepy Uppy, boogie down in Dance Mode, and lots more Bluey fun!

Jul. 11 | Dig In! | Dig your hands into sensory fun with Play-doh, kinetic sand, finger painting, modeling clay, and more. (Be sure to “dress for a mess” this week.)

Jul. 18 | Chalk Town | This crowd favorite is back! Bring a small toy car to drive all around our chalk town.

Aug. 1 | Yoga Storytime | Enjoy yoga in the sunshine with Miss Chris! Bring a mat or beach towel if you can.

The Chelsea District Library is a single branch library serving the City of Chelsea and surrounding townships. The library has 4 small study rooms, one medium meeting room, and the McKune room, our main programming room.
