The headline event for Washtenaw Reads 2024 is here! We are proud to have Ashley Rogers from the Whitney Plantation in Louisiana give a talk at the Ann Arbor District Library. The Whitney Plantation is featured in How the Word is Passed and Clint Smith writes about the organization's focus on centering the experience of the people who were enslaved there in the tours and exhibits.
