In this one hour presentation, we will discuss the process of gathering basic family history information, how to obtain and fill in common charts and forms, how to locate public records, and how to navigate online resources to build your family tree. A handout will be provided to attendees.
Our presenter Katherine R. Willson is the founder and past president of the Virtual Genealogical Association, past president of the Michigan Genealogical Council, and past board member for the Association of Professional Genealogists. Her website at SocialMediaGenealogy.com contains multiple resources for those researching their family trees.
