Learn about the impact Texas singer-songwriters had on all kinds of music all while listening to songs from the "Great Country of Texas."
Bill Nedela is a retired Science Teacher of 35+ years and an avid lover of songs and music. He plays guitar and sings songs he has picked up over the years that resonated with him. He has written dozens of songs that lend themselves to the songwriters and songs that he relates to. He really loves all types of music. Bill was a part of a team that put on a highly successful venue - "The White Steeple Stage" in Pinckney, MI. He also has hosted more than a dozen "House Concerts" at his home in Pinckney. He books acts for both venues from Michigan and other states. He also played in a band "The Pontunes" for about seven years focusing on acoustic music and some of his originals. He is an amateur luthier and furniture maker. He has made about 10 guitars and several furniture pieces from Mission and Shaker plans. He also made furniture from Hockey Sticks - his best seller were barstools. If you google "Singer-songwriters from Texas" you will get a short list of 672.
