Thanksgiving Storytime

Spread seasonal joy with a special evening Thanksgiving storytime.

Move to the rhythm, shake your tail feathers, and celebrate Thanksgiving joy with Miss Edith and Dr. Burney's band, Honey Creek! This storytime aimed at ages 2-6 is complete with stories, songs, live music and a Thanksgiving craft.

Honey Creek is an ad hoc group of friends who met singing for Measure-for-Measure, a Men's Choral Society. They play an eclectic bunch of folk, bluegrass, and novelty songs for the fun of it, mainly to entertain at the Measure-for-Measure annual banquet. This will be their first performance for children, but all have experience as grandfathers, which should be good preparation for Storytime.

The Chelsea District Library is a single branch library serving the City of Chelsea and surrounding townships. The library has 4 small study rooms, one medium meeting room, and the McKune room, our main programming room.
