This book club for kids ages 9-12 meets every other month for a book discussion and activities.
On an island off the coast of New Zealand live the last remaining kakapo parrots, flightless birds who are historically too curious and friendly for their own good. Learn all about this critically endangered species and the scientists who study and protect them in this nonfiction title. At book club, we'll discuss the story, enjoy a snack, and do an activity related to the book. Register to get a free copy of the book (pick up at the 1st Floor Information Desk). Supplies are limited!
