WAVE has been helping residents since 1976. Today Western Washtenaw Area Value Express (WAVE) operates 15 vehicles to serve all of Western Washtenaw County! WAVE rides are available at low cost and for all ages.
Transportation is one of the most basic needs of daily life, yet for many, reliable access to transportation can be a challenge. Whether it’s getting to work, the senior center, or appointments, the ability to move freely and efficiently is vital to maintaining a sense of independence and well-being. Community Days are an easy way to learn more about this valuable community service.

The Chelsea District Library is a single branch library serving the City of Chelsea and surrounding townships. The library has 4 small study rooms, one medium meeting room, and the McKune room, our main programming room.
