Chelsea District Library
Ingenuity EngineDo you work during the day, or simply not have time to visit the Ingenuity Engine during normal hours? Starting this spring, the Engine will be open two evenings a week each month.
The Ingenuity Engine is CDL's makerspace, a room full of exciting tools and equipment to help you learn to create. We have laser engravers, 3D Printers, sewing machines, a CNC Router, Adobe Photoshop, Cricut, and more. Join us to work on an existing project or stop in for help with something new from Librarian Stacey or Matt! Not sure what you might want to do in the Engine? Stop by for a tour! Visitors under 12 require an adult to be present with them while in the room.
What have others created in the Engine?
- Christmas ornaments
- engraved cutting boards
- 3D printed parts for repairing machinery or appliances
- 3D printed trinkets to delight kids and adults of all ages
- screen printed or heat pressed t-shirts or hats
- vinyl lettering or images for water bottles, signs, and more.
